ISOSEP AND CHEMLIBRIS IN COOPERATION OFFER EXPERT CUSTOM SYNTHESIS SERVICES

ChemLibris has recently entered a collaboration with ISOSEP AB which has extended the range of services that can be provided. IsoSep AB, active since 1991, is a leading provider of complex carbohydrates, glycoconjugates and glycolipids. In addition to this well-established fine chemicals service, the company can now, through collaboration with ChemLibris, offer organic synthesis services to customers in industry or academia. The services range from synthesis of single compounds for R&D purposes (up to kg scale) to explorative synthesis of compounds or libraries within a larger project framework. The key staff has extensive organic chemistry experience drawn from previous engagements in both industry and academia, encompassing both "traditional" organic synthesis, solid-phase synthesis, enzymatic synthesis, and separation of complex mixtures. Especially, a unique expertise in the synthesis, analysis and isolation of complex carbohydrates, glycopeptides and glycoconjugates is offered, drawn from several decades of research experience. IsoSep has access to modern laboratories and state-of-the-art analytical instrumentation (NMR, MS). Services are provided within tight time frameworks and prices are competetive. The main facilities are located in Ultuna, Uppsala, close to academic centra (University of Uppsala, Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences, Uppsala Biomedical Center).
